BoConcept
Overview:
This project involved editing and color grading a commercial for BoConcept, with the goal of creating a calm, filmic visual identity aligned with the brand’s Nordic aesthetic. The focus was on clarity, tonal balance and a refined post-production workflow.
Design & Technical Approach:
Footage was shot in Open Gate (ARRI Alexa) and edited in DaVinci Resolve. A color-managed workflow using CST nodes was implemented, converting S-Log3 to DaVinci Wide Gamut and outputting to Rec.709-A for consistent display across Mac and broadcast platforms. Grading combined manual adjustments with Film Look Creator to achieve a subtle, analog-inspired tone.
Output & Workflow:
The project was exported in 4K ProRes 422 HQ for flexible use across digital and broadcast platforms. A structured timeline, proxy workflow, and 25 fps delivery ensured both creative control and technical precision throughout the process.
The result is a visually balanced commercial, ready for both screen and digital use—delivering consistent color, smooth pacing and a refined finish across platforms.
